ResurFX suits men and women who want to refine their facial skin texture. Examples include depressions left by acne on the cheeks, fine lines around the eyes and mouth, or skin on the face and neck that looks less firm. We select the treatment area that matches your main concern.
Acne can leave small depressions and uneven areas in the skin. ResurFX targets the structure of this scar tissue. By stimulating collagen renewal, we work towards a more even skin surface.
The collagen network supporting your skin changes over the years. The laser delivers targeted heat within the skin to renew this network. This approach is used for fine lines, for example around the eyes, and skin that looks less firm.
Pores are a normal part of the skin. When the surrounding skin becomes rougher or less firm, they can appear more prominent. ResurFX works on the skin structure around the pores for a more refined appearance.
Fine lines and reduced firmness can also appear on the neck. The face and neck option treats these areas together. You can also book the neck as a separate area.

THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE TREATMENT
How does ResurFX M22 work?
ResurFX uses a laser with a wavelength of 1565 nanometres. Energy is distributed across very small treatment points. Heat is generated in the deeper skin layers, activating natural renewal and collagen formation.
The skin between the treatment points remains available for recovery. Non-ablative means the laser does not vaporise the outer skin layer. Improvement develops through gradual renewal of the skin structure.
The laser treats a pattern of small points rather than the entire skin surface at once. The size, density and energy of this pattern can be adjusted to the area and the treatment goal.
CoolScan distributes the laser points in a controlled sequence, so heat does not repeatedly build up in the same place. The tip cools the skin surface during contact. The handpiece combines targeted energy with cooling.

During treatment
The handpiece is placed on successive parts of the skin. You feel warmth and short sensations as the laser applies its fractional pattern. Contact cooling works throughout this step.

Review & follow-up
After treatment, we provide skincare and guidance for home. Collagen renewal continues in the following weeks. A series of appointments gives your skin time to recover and rebuild between sessions.

Treating the eye area differs from a full-face appointment. Choose the area you want to focus on. Combinations are also available for several skin concerns.
This option includes the face and the skin below the jawline together. It suits fine lines or changes in skin texture affecting both the face and neck.
ResurFX focuses on skin texture and collagen renewal. IPL uses broad-spectrum light for pigmentation and visible redness. Both technologies are part of the M22 platform, but use different handpieces and forms of energy.
The combination addresses two aspects of your skin: IPL for colour differences and ResurFX for texture. It suits skin with pigmentation or redness alongside fine lines and uneven texture.

For skin texture and fine lines, Lumenis generally describes three to five treatments, spaced four to five weeks apart. We build the appointment plan around the selected area and your main concern.
The skin builds new collagen in the weeks after treatment. Changes in texture and fine lines therefore develop gradually, including between appointments. Lumenis describes further improvement for about six months after a treatment series.
You feel short sensations and warmth as the laser delivers energy. The cooled contact tip simultaneously cools the skin surface. The sensation differs between a small area and a larger treatment area.
The skin may look red and feel slightly swollen after the heat pulses. This settles over the first hours to days. Use gentle skincare and sun protection; during your appointment, we explain when to resume active skin products.
Yes. The cheeks and eye area have separate options. Choose a targeted appointment for acne scars on the cheeks or fine lines around the eyes. For several areas of concern, you can choose the full face.
Both can work fractionally. ResurFX is non-ablative: it does not vaporise the outer skin layer. An ablative CO₂ laser removes small columns of skin tissue. ResurFX stimulates renewal through heat within the skin.
